Reviews
A decently nice value for the number of safety goggles that come with this. These safety glasses from TICONN feature temples that can be pulled out to accommodate different sized heads, and additionally, they can be tilted through a ratcheting system that further provides additional adjustability to better accommodate a larger range of head shapes. These by design are for wider noggins so be aware that they may not be as well fitting for smaller head shapes. One final feature of note with these is that the top bar along the top not only helps to seal it from dust intrusion but can act also as a barrier for sweat, a nice touch. Overall, as long as heads sizes aren't overly small, they should fit pretty well and constitute a decent but not tremendous value.
These clear safety glasses come as a 10-pack with adjustable arms and ANSI Z87.1 protection. The arms do expand either 1/8" or 1/4" depending if one pulls them out one or two notches on each side. I was surprised that each arm also has a rotational adjustment to slightly angle them upward or downward, which I have not seen in any of my other safety glasses over many years. The nose guard is comfortable to me but does not seem to adjust or be replaceable if one needs that. The top ridge of the glasses has the same rubber padding of the nose guard that rests against one's forehead. For me, this top ridge does make contact over my eyes but at the outer edge does come out just enough on each side for me to fit about one finger into the space; however, this will depend on each person's width of their face.
The one thing I do not particularly like is that the back of the arms curve inward pretty drastically. This means that I have to bend the arms outward to not poke my face when putting them on. Although, it does mean they hold in position well since they are grabbing the back sides of my head fairly tightly. I just wish the arms were just slightly straighter. The polycarbonate is clear and easy to see through with no distortion that I noticed. My fingerprints are noticeable though after much handling of them and I had to wipe them off. Beyond these minor items though, each of these is a fairly decent pair of safety glasses that are good for working in the workshop.
I got the gray tinted ones.
I'm an XL adult male, 6 feet tall, and they fit me great.
These are anti-fog, anti-scratch, and anti-UV, but they are NOT polarized. That means they can cause some eye strain. They do NOT have a blue light filter on them or anything like that.
They do produce a bit of distortion around the edges.
They're not super dark - they're only a medium tint, so you can still see what you're working on. It's the perfect level of tint for outdoor work.
They don't hook around the ears, the temples just go straight back. I find that annoying, but some people like them.
My favorite feature is the they tilt forward and back. This feature was not mentioned anywhere!
So you can adjust the length of the temples (a little bit, they can expand up to 3/4 inch), but you can also tilt them if needed. And the nose pads are adjustable also.
This review is for the TICONN Safety Glasses. It comes in a 3 pack at an economical price. The wraparound design hugs my face well and doesn't fall off when I look down. The lens is anti-fog, UV protected, and scratch resistant. Comfort wise these safety glasses are fine and fit fairly passively. If you are looking for basic safety glasses, these will do the job.
However the ear piece are advertised as adjustable and there is only 7 mm of adjustment with 3 clickable positions which doesn't make much of a difference. I am a dentist and I was hoping to use these for safety glasses for my patients. The ear piece doesn't have much of a curve to go behind the ear and the lack of adjustability means that they will hit the back of the headrest when patients are lying down. The nose piece is also not adjustable and only the bottom 1/5 actually touches my nose. My overall rating is 3.6 stars which rounded up to 4 stars.
Glasses feel very comfortable on ears and face, not sure about the sturdiness yet but they will be just fine for a class
These yellow-tinted safety glasses are fantastic. The anti-fog coating works really well, even during long wear or when moving between hot and cold environments. The yellow tint enhances contrast in low-light or indoor conditions, making it easier to see details.
They fit comfortably and stay securely in place without pinching. The lenses are durable and scratch-resistant, and the overall build feels solid. I've used them for work and hobbies, and they've performed perfectly every time.
Overall, these are high-quality safety glasses that combine comfort, protection, and excellent visibility. Highly recommend for anyone working in low-light or fast-paced environments.
