This generous twin pack of stretch wrap with handles is amazing. The large handles and strong stretch plastic allow for easy application in any desired project. This product adheres to itself preventing any harm to even your most delicate items. Enjoy a great value for your money and the peace of mind of knowing that your valuables are safe and secured.
I used it to move to my new apartment and it worked great. It protected my furniture and did not ripped at all.
Stretch wrap is one of those secrets that professional movers use to secure and protect packed items. This roll is the perfect size for small-scale moving jobs. The plastic is a good thickness and the cardboard handle is sturdy enough to make applying it straight-forward.
I've been stalking up on all the moving supplies, and the day has come for me to actually start moving. I had never used one of these rap products before, but this made it really easy. As you can see in the picture my first attempt was on a love seat. I'm guessing it was the quality of the rap that made it so easy to get started. It was strong enough that it gave plenty of stretch, without breaking. I was able to tighten it around the corners as I unwound, and it stuck to itself pretty well. The only tip that I can give, is to find a rod or something to go down the center of the handle so it will spin freely. Then you can unwrap quickly without twisting your wrist.
I'm pretty darn impressed at my packing skills now!
I have the 18"x1000' version that was very useful during a house move, and generally anything else that you would want to protect while transporting - such as furnitures, and even suitcases for check-ins... though to me film wrapping a suitcase is a bit of a paranoid overkill. Besides - TSA might open it up anyway. Perhaps boxes.Anyway, that was too big for the smaller things like the little statue, or other fragile items that go inside a box or to wrap a small package prior to posting. So this one came in handy with the handle to help with unrolling it, as seen in the picture. The film itself is pretty strong, much stronger for most small item use. The only gripe I have is that material/ft wise its more expensive than a larger version. I would've hoped they price it a bit cheaper, thus the 1 star ding - I feel these things should be really economical. However, that's how pricing works anyway - smaller quantity is more expensive per volume. If you do buy, I'd thus suggest getting the multipack version. Yes, this is a generic - but if you're buying it for wrapping during transport, I see no real need for anything fancy.
This is some good quality stretch wrap. I tried a few times to break it by stretching after my furniture wrap was complete (rather than cutting) and it just didn't give. It is quite strong. It's a great size because you can use it multiple times in sections on taller furniture (or whatever), or just once on shorter items, but you still get a lot of maneuverability with it. It's much more nimble and easy to use than a 12" or 18" wrap.My only real gripe is the handle. Per the description, I expected the handle to twist with the roll so you could just hold the handle and walk quickly around whatever you're wrapping. It doesn't work like that. It's just a stick stuck in the middle that doesn't move. It's better than nothing, but a disappointment nonetheless.
